CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Stability and strong legal representation have been hallmarks of the firm since its inception back in 1874. Our attorneys, paralegals and support staff enjoy a uniquely collegial work environment, with competitive compensation, in four communities which afford tremendous quality of life. Affordable housing, easy commutes, strong schools, and friendly, supportive neighborhoods characterize the entire region. Our Toledo office is in the heart of downtown, and our Findlay, Waterville and Adrian, Michigan offices serve areas which are undergoing steady economic growth.

Attorney Recruiting

Most of the firm’s attorney hiring comes through its summer associate program, generally available for students having completed the equivalent of two years of law school. Our summer associate program is closely modeled on the firm’s first-year associate training program. Summer associates work closely with a small core group of lawyers, involving a broad cross-section of the firm’s practice areas. Special effort is made to expose summer associates to situations affording client interface, and numerous social opportunities provide a chance to get to know the firm’s professionals outside of the practice environment.

Equal Opportunity Employer

It is our policy to comply with all applicable state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination in employment based on race, age, color, sex, religion, disability, national origin, or any other protected classification.  Robison, Curphey & O'Connell is an equal opportunity employer.

Inquiries should be addressed to Peter Lavalette, chair of the Firm’s recruiting committee.
