        Mark C. Abramson is a partner with Robison, Curphey & O'Connell and has extensive experience in the employee benefits field. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio, Michigan and the District of Columbia, and has argued cases in both the United States District Court and the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

        Mark serves as an Instructor of Law at the University of Toledo College of Law and has previously taught in the Masters in Taxation program at its College of Business Administration. Mark is a frequent instructor and lecturer regarding employee benefits, wealth transfer and Social Security issues.

        Mark earned is Juris Doctor degree from the American University, Washington College of Law, in 1981. He earned his bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Cincinnati in 1978.

PRACTICE DETAILS

        Employment Law. Mark advises and represents clients on a wide range of employment and employee benefits matters, including compliance issues for qualified and nonqualified plans.

        ERISA; Employee Benefits. Mark advises and counsels employers in the design and operation of all forms of employee benefit programs, including qualified retirement plans and welfare benefit plans. He assists clients in navigating the complex funding and structural requirements of plans, and assure compliance with fiduciary standards and claims adjudication.

       Wealth Preservation. Mark educates his clients on tools available to protect their assets and develop success plans to transfer assets and assure business continuity.
