William V. Beach is a partner with RCO and practices in the areas of employment law, business law, and related litigation.
Bill earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1988 and his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1984. He joined RCO in 1988.
AREAS OF PRACTICE
Employment Law. Bill counsels clients regarding the many issues affecting the employer/employee relationship. These issues range from practical day-to-day inquiries to proactive planning, litigation prevention and resolving compliance issues associated with judicial, legislative and administrative mandates. His proactive planning services cover matters such as hiring documentation and practices, discharge documentation and practices, employee handbooks, contracts, covenants not to compete and management training regarding matters such as sexual harassment, discrimination and investigative techniques.
Business Law. Bill defends employer interests before various administrative agencies including the Department of Labor (DOL), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the State Employment Relations Board (SERB), the Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC), the Ohio Department of Commerce, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS), the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) and the Ohio Industrial Commission (OIC).
