James E. Brazeau is the managing partner of Robison, Curphey & O'Connell. He is licensed to practice in both Ohio and Michigan. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an honorary association of experienced trial lawyers in the United States and Canada in which fellowship is extended by invitation only.
Jim has extensive litigation experience in many areas including medical and legal malpractice, health care, product liability law, and construction litigation. He represents hospitals, clinics, and physicians in the defense of professional liability suits at trial and in the appellate courts, including the Ohio Supreme Court. He has also been involved in the defense of manufacturers and drug companies for product liability claims.
Jim received both his Juris Doctor degree (with honors) and undergraduate degrees from the University of Toledo. He joined RCO in 1984.
AREAS OF PRACTICE
Construction. Jim has represented owners, contractors, and architects for defective design and construction claims in both Michigan and Ohio.
Healthcare. Jim has represented hospitals, clinics, and physicians in Ohio and Michigan in the defense of professional liability suits at trial and in the appellate courts, including the Ohio Supreme Court.
Product liability. Includes the defense of manufacturers and drug companies for product liability claims.
