Thomas A. Gibson is a partner with RCO and represents clients in a wide range of matters including construction, development, commercial and industrial real estate purchase/sale, financing, leasing, and joint venturing as well as environmental matters and other commercial transactions. He is licensed to practice law in both Kentucky and Ohio.
Prior to entering the practice of law, Tom was a practicing professional engineer.
Tom earned his Juris Doctor degree (with high honors) and his undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo. He joined RCO in 1986.
AREAS OF PRACTICE
Real Estate Law. Tom provides services in all phases of buying and selling of residential, vacation and commercial real estate including the acquisition and sale of business entities.
Corporate Law. Tom advises shareholders, directors, partners, and owners in corporate and entity governance, business succession and planning issues and capital transactions.
Tax Law. Tom counsels clients in creative ways to eliminate or reduce taxes and administrative expenses.
Commercial Transactions. Tom assists in the negotiation and consummation of mergers and acquisitions and advises clients on distribution, licensing and other commercial arrangements.
