        Kathryn M. Mohr is a partner with Robison, Curphey & O'Connell and has extensive experience in agribusiness, corporate and commercial law, estate planning and real estate. She is licensed to practice in both Michigan and Ohio.  

        Kathryn earned her Juris Doctor degree (with honors) from the University of Toledo and her undergraduate degree (with highest honors) from Adrian College. She joined RCO in 1987.

PRACTICE DETAILS

  Agriculture. With a background in agriculture, Kathryn understands the complexities and issues facing farmers and has provided services and counseling tailored to their specific needs. She has experience in contract negotiation, real estate, conflict resolution, estate planning and succession planning.  

  Succession Planning for Family Farms. Kathryn advises family farm clients on issues involving estate planning and administration, succession planning, business structure and real estate transactions.

  Commercial Transactions. Kathryn assists in the negotiation and consummation of mergers and acquisitions and advises clients on distribution, licensing and other commercial arrangements.

       Corporate and Commercial Law. Kathryn advises shareholders, directors, partners, and owners in corporate and entity governance, business succession and planning issues and capital transactions.

   Counselor. Kathryn Kathryn counsels townships, banks, credit unions, businesses, and real estate brokers. Kathryn has presented seminars in real estate, limited liability company and estate planning.

        Estate Planning. Kathryn assists clients in their estate planning by assuring that their property is distributed in accordance with their wishes while at the same time reducing or eliminating taxes to the extent possible. She advises clients in estate and family business succession planning. She has extensive experience with probate law.

       
Real Estate.
  Kathryn provides services in all phases of buying and selling of residential, vacation and commercial real estate including the acquisition and sale of business entities.
