Kathryn M. Mohr is a partner with RC&O and has extensive experience in agribusiness, corporate and commercial law, estate planning and real estate. She is licensed to practice in both Michigan and Ohio .  

        Kathryn earned her Juris Doctorate (with honors) from the University of Toledo and her undergraduate degree (with highest honors) from Adrian College. She joined RC&O in 1987.  

AREAS OF PRACTICE

  Agribusiness. With a background in agriculture, Kathryn understand the complexities and issues facing farmers and has provided services tailored to their specific needs. She has experience in contract negotiation, real estate, conflict resolution, and estate planning. 

       Commercial Transactions.  Kathryn assists in the negotiation and consummation of mergers and acquisitions and advises clients on distribution, licensing and other commercial arrangements.

       Corporate and Commercial Law. Kathryn advises shareholders, directors, partners, and owners in corporate and entity governance, business succession and planning issues and capital transactions.

        Counselor. Kathryn counsels townships, banks, credit unions, businesses, and real estate brokers. Kathryn has presented seminars in real estate, limited liability company and estate planning. 

        Estate Planning. Kathryn assists clients in their estate planning by assuring that their property is distributed in accordance with their wishes while at the same time reducing or eliminating taxes to the extent possible. She advises clients in estate and family business succession planning. She has extensive experience with probate law.

        Real Estate.  Kathryn provides services in all phases of buying and selling of residential, vacation and commercial real estate including the acquisition and sale of business entities.
