David W. Stuckey is a partner with RCO and has extensive experience in civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance defense and coverage, Federal Employers’ Liability Act defense and commercial litigation. He has presented seminars on trial practice, litigation and insurance issues. He is licensed to practice in both Michigan and Ohio.
Dave earned his Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University College of Law (with honors) and his undergraduate degree (with highest honors) from Capital University.
AREAS OF PRACTICE
Trial and Appellate Advocacy.
Dave represents clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts in Ohio and Michigan.
Insurance. Dave advises and represents major insurance companies regarding insurance coverage issues and defends insureds in the defense of various claims including personal injury, employer intentional tort and product liability.
Professional Liability. Dave represents professionals including doctors, hospitals and layers regarding professional liability claims.
Product Liability. Dave represents manufacturers and retailers in the defense of product liability claims.
Transportation. Dave represents railroads and trucking companies in the defense of personal injury and other claims.
Employment and Benefits. Dave represents individuals and businesses regarding discrimination and harassment claims, injuries in the workplace and restrictive covenants/trade secret issues.
Construction. Dave represents general contractors, subcontractors, independent contractors and builders regarding insurance coverage issues and claims arising out of construction projects.
Mediation. Dave has experience in mediation and other types of alternate dispute resolution processes.
