Environmental Law is involved in all aspects of modern business. As such, our environmental practice section includes lawyers from various practice areas including both our transactional and litigation sections.

The lawyers in our environmental practice group have a great deal of experience investigating, evaluating and assessing risks of environmental matters relating to real estate acquisition and development. In addition, we have represented clients in matters relating to past or current solid/hazardous waste disposal, remediation including liability arising under CERCLA (Superfund), RCRA, Oil Pollution Act of 1990 as well as related state statutory regulations.

Our lawyers deal with U.S. EPA, Ohio EPA, Michigan DEQ, as well as local regulatory agencies and other interested third-parties in negotiating and resolving a wide range of disposal/discharge/remediation issues. In addition, we have represented clients in common law claims of public and private nuisance abatement and damage recovery.
