Attorney Recruiting

Stability and exceptional legal representation have been hallmarks of Robison, Curphey, & O’Connell since its inception in 1874. Associates, partners, and our of-counsel attorneys all play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and value to our clients.

Over the years, RCO Law has assembled its team of professionals in various ways. Our summer associate program is offered to law students who have completed their second year of law school. Closely modeled on the firm’s associate training program, the summer associate experience affords an opportunity to work closely with a core group of attorneys from a broad cross-section of the firm’s practice areas.

RCO Law also has a strong history of recruiting, and successfully integrating, lateral attorneys, and those seeking an of-counsel relationship with the firm. Laterals and of-counsel attorneys find a collegial work environment, and one that fosters collaboration among attorneys and clients to ensure the best client experience.

Whether interested in a summer associate, lateral, or of-counsel position, please contact the firm’s Recruiting Chair, Robert C. Tucker at, for information about potential opportunities.

RCO Law seeks to fill two vacant positions to support its growing Southeastern Michigan practice, at both the mid-level partner and associate levels. Candidates for the associate position should have at least two years of general civil practice experience, with estate planning, real estate and commercial transactional experience preferred.
