Amy’s practice includes labor and employment law, civil litigation, and commercial litigation. The depth of her experience spans multiple state and federal courts with experience in labor and employment law, civil litigation, civil rights litigation, commercial litigation, municipal law, and family law.
Amy is adept at analyzing organizational structural changes; conducting internal audits and investigations; serving as legal support to human resource departments; consulting on wage, hour and benefits; defending employers against EEOC or state entity claims; negotiating severance agreements; and assisting clients from the discovery process through trial. Skilled in the courtroom, Amy has defended municipalities, schools, and their employees against claims of constitutional rights violations.
Labor and Employment Law is a dynamic practice area especially with the recent COVID-19 pandemic. In response to this national crisis, Amy served on the firm’s COVID Response Team and counseled many for profit and nonprofit employers seeking advice on how to protect their employees and remain compliant with government mandates.

Born and raised in Iowa, I practiced law for 11 years in Kansas City before moving to Ohio in 2017 when I joined RCO Law. My husband and I have two school age children. My family and I continue to enjoy exploring activities and attractions in Northwest Ohio. Three things about me: I’m competitive, love good Mexican food, and enjoy cheering on my favorite football teams - the Iowa Hawkeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers.
