RCO Law welcomes Timothy A. Konieczny as Of Counsel to the Firm, practicing in the areas of business, corporate, estate planning, wealth preservation, finance, and real estate. Tim began his legal career as an associate with Robison, Curphey and O’Connell in 1982.  In 2005, Tim ventured out forming his own practice for 16 years. He re-joined the Firm in February 2022.           

With 40 years of experience, he has represented hundreds of clients.  Tim’s decision to return to RCO Law is a welcome move as he contributes a depth of experience for existing clients of the Firm, while expanding legal services available for his clients. The Firm looks forward to Tim’s steady guidance while mentoring younger attorneys in their formative years.

A native of Oak Harbor, Tim is a 1979 graduate of Brown University, Providence, R.I. He earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, in 1982. He was admitted to practice in Ohio in 1982 and in Michigan in 1985.  During his career, Tim has been recognized as a Best Lawyer in America.

Tim is a board member of the St. John Lutheran Church Endowment Trust, Inc., Oak Harbor; and is the president of Miller Investment Fund LLC, Toledo.  He is the former board chairman of Otterbein Sunset House SeniorLife Community; a past board member of the Friendly Center; the Toledo Zoo & Aquarium; Adopt America Network; St. John’s Jesuit High School Friends of Titans Rowing, Inc.; and former church council president at St. John Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor.

  • Get to know Tim 

    Tim and his wife, parents of two grown daughters and a son, live on a family farm in Millbury, Ohio, where he raises hay, corn, wheat, and soybeans. Tim is an outdoorsman who enjoys pheasant and deer hunting, and fishing for trout, walleye, and salmon. In his travels Tim has been to England, France, and Switzerland, but his most memorable trip was traveling to Rio de Janeiro to see his son, a competitive rower, compete in the 2016 Summer Olympics and place a respectable fifth place in the men’s lightweight double scull event.
