Marcus Reed is RCO Law's Summer Associate. Marcus is a rising third-year law student at The University of Toledo where he serves as Executive Articles Editor for The University of Toledo Law Review. He is a teaching assistant for Lawyering Skills I & II, and Torts. He is president of the Labor and Employment Law Association; and is a student member of the Academic Policy Committee.
A native of Canton, Ohio, Marcus became interested in labor law at an early age by observing his father who is a firefighter and former president of the local Firefighters Union.
Marcus graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
His legal professional experience includes serving as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jack Zouhary, United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio; law clerk, U.S. Attorney's Office; law clerk, Ohio Patrolmen's Benevolent Association; legal intern, Canton City Law Department, Prosecutorial Section; legal intern, Manley Deas and Kochalski LLC; and communications and marketing intern, Ohio State Bar Association.
Although he admits to little free time, Marcus enjoys golfing and traveling to the national parks. His favorite national parks? Yellowstone and Glacier.
