RCO Law Attorney Marissa K. Fitzpatrick has been selected to receive the Ohio State Bar Foundation's Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under. This award will be presented at the OSBA District 4 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, October 5, at noon at The Toledo Club.
Marissa was nominated by RCO Law Partner William V. Beach, who cited Marissa's dedicated service to organizations including Habitat for Humanity; Maumee Chamber of Commerce; Genacross Lutheran Services Board of Directors; and the Toledo P.E.T. Bull Project. According to Bill, "while this past year has been difficult due to the COVID pandemic, Marissa has remained very active working with clients who needed estate planning or health care plans. Estate planning has been one of the most sought after practices due to the pandemic.
"Marissa is committed to her profession, but she is also committed to her community and its quality of life through the organizations that she serves," he said.
She earned a bachelor's degree from Ohio University in 2012, and a law degree from The Univesity of Toledo College of Law in 2015.
