New RCO Law Associate Sworn In

November 9, 2021

Kate Y. Murray, a new associate of RCO Law, was sworn in on Monday, November 8, by Judge Stacy Cook of the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas.  Kate joined the firm as an associate in September. She previously had been a summer associate for RCO Law in 2020.

This year the Ohio Supreme Court held its first-ever remote bar admission ceremonies, swearing in the state's newest lawyers virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some attorneys, like Kate, opted for an in-person swearing in ceremony at a local courthouse.

Kate graduated from The University of Toledo College of Law in May 2021. She passed the bar examination in July.  She earned an undergraduate degree in criminal justice from Bowling Green State University in 2018.
