November 11, 2016

(Monroe, MI) The Monroe City Council has approved the appointment of Matthew D. Budds and a service agreement with RCO Law to take over city attorney services.

Councilman William Sisk, who was among the interviewers, said he was impressed with Mr. Budds.  “I thought he thought well on his feet,” Mr. Sisk said. “The tipping point for me was his commitment to our community. I could see him serving the community for a long time.”

Matt was raised and lives in Monroe County and enjoys involvement in the Monroe community through his participation with the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Community Foundation.
